Immediately west of the City of Saint Louis, the City of Clayton, Missouri combines a lively downtown with thriving residential neighborhoods. It’s a unique, upscale suburban community with an inner-ring urban vibe. While land use in Clayton is mostly dedicated to residential or park use, the city’s Central Business District is home to some of the area’s priciest office space. Two of the area’s most distinguished private elementary schools are also located in Clayton: The Forsyth School and Wilson School.
